Collages

I worked on these some more. I brought the packaging all the way to the edges of both and scrubbed away some of the paint on the peanut one, added more layers of packing to both and paint to the hotdog one. I think that they are starting to work better, but not there yet.

    Hey Jasmine,
    These are definitely developing nicely. They're pretty different from each other - one is bold, the other more subtle. The bold one is developing a sense of weight and spacial depth by working boldly on top of the background. The peanuts painting has a shallower, wispier sense of depth in the picture plane, and the space is confounding. Both are interesting in this in-progress state, and it'll be good to see what happens with them.
    The new 'sign' painting is funny and interesting, but it feels too early to comment on.
    How's the 'metal' part on the first sign going?
